The competitive landscape in Southeast Asia is heating up once again as KRAFTON officially primes the stage for the PUBG Thailand Series (PTS) 2026 Phase 2. Running from September 21 through October 6, 2026, this marquee A-tier professional series brings together 24 of Thailand's best squads to battle for a ฿975,000 THB (~$29,341 USD) prize pool and crucial PUBG Global Championship (PGC) 2026 qualification points.
As a core pillar of the official regional roadmap leading into the global championship, Phase 2 promises fierce rivalries, high-stakes tactical rotations, and relentless action under the updated SUPER Global Point Rule and modern esports settings.
Format and Schedule: From Group Staging to Grand Finals
The tournament is designed to test consistency and endurance across a grueling multi-week schedule:
Group Stage (September 21–23 & September 25–27, 2026): Twenty-four teams are split into three groups of eight, playing 10 matches each across the first week. After a group reshuffle for week two, cumulative sprint points determine the top 16 teams that advance to the Grand Finals, while the bottom 8 squads are eliminated.
Grand Finals (October 1–6, 2026): The surviving 16 finalists will endure a marathon 30-match showdown across six consecutive days to crown the ultimate champion of Phase 2.
Elite Field and Heavyweight Roster
The competition features a mix of direct invite powerhouses and fierce qualifier survivors, setting the stage for domestic dominance:
Direct Invites & Pro Giants: Household names such as FULL SENSE, Made in Thailand (MiTH), Theerathon Five, Armory Gaming, Buriram United Esports, and Sharper Esports headline the group.
Challengers & Qualified Contenders: Teams like Zyrtec and Genesis Of Divine (graduating from PTC Phase 2) alongside fresh qualifier squads look to upset the veterans.
Prize Pool and PGC Points Distribution
Beyond the cash prizes, the stakes are exceptionally high due to the heavy allocation of PGC 2026 Qualification Points, which are vital for teams aiming for the world stage:
1st Place: ฿350,000 THB (~$10,533 USD) + 320 PGC Points
2nd Place: ฿150,000 THB (~$4,514 USD) + 210 PGC Points
3rd Place: ฿100,000 THB (~$3,009 USD) + 170 PGC Points
4th Place: ฿60,000 THB (~$1,806 USD) + 135 PGC Points
