This document is our privacy policy, which describes what information we collect and what it's used for. Your use of the site constitutes your agreement to this policy.
You can browse RIB without an account. If you don't sign in, we don't collect a username, email, or any other registration details. The only information we collect automatically is:
This is collected for the purposes of keeping the site secure, preventing abuse, and understanding aggregate usage. It is not shared with any other party beyond the service providers that host and operate the site on our behalf.
RIB offers an optional "Sign in with Riot" feature, powered by Riot Games' own Riot Sign On (RSO) service. When you use it, you authenticate directly with Riot — we never see or store your Riot password.
Once you've signed in, Riot shares a small set of information with us to identify your account: a unique Riot account identifier (PUUID) and your account region. We use this to link your Riot account to your RIB profile and to show your own match and stats data back to you.
You can revoke RIB's access to your Riot account at any time from Riot's own account settings. Doing so ends your signed-in session on RIB the next time it needs to refresh.
Creating a forums account and signing in on RIB is done through Google's own sign-in service. When you use it, you authenticate directly with Google — we never see or store your Google password.
Once you've signed in, Google shares a small set of information with us: your email address and basic profile info (name, profile picture). We use your email only to identify and secure your account. The username you choose during sign-up is what's shown publicly on your posts — never your email address or Google account name.
You can revoke RIB's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account's security settings. Doing so ends your signed-in session on RIB the next time it needs to refresh.
We use cookies to save certain user-selected settings and preferences (such as display options), and, if you sign in (via Riot or Google), a session cookie to keep you signed in. You can opt to disable cookies from your web browser's privacy settings, but doing so may prevent some preferences from persisting between visits and will prevent sign-in from working.
