KRAFTON is bringing a fresh twist to competitive PUBG: Battlegrounds with the official launch of PUBG Asia Stars 2026. Running online from September 17 to September 20, 2026, this A-tier showmatch tournament unites prominent content creators, official PUBG Partners, and professional esports athletes from six major Asian territories to fight for a $70,000 USD prize pool.
Inspired by the medal events of traditional multi-sport competitions like the Asian Games, PUBG Asia Stars moves away from standard meta-gaming. Instead, it challenges forty-eight elite competitors across nine unique custom UGC modes, testing versatility, mechanics, and entertainment value across the board.
A Unique Format: Nine Custom Playgrounds and Battle Royale Events
Rather than standard drop-and-loot matches, the tournament features eight Playgrounds custom maps alongside a grand Platoon Battle Royale finale.
Speed & Agility: Competitors will battle through Circuit Racing across three traditional lap and item-battle maps, and test individual movement limits in Survivor's Climb and the multi-stage Obstacle Challenge.
Combat Variety: The action escalates in Glider Battle with aerial panzerfaust and RPD duels, precision-focused Crossbow Shooting, a 1v1 Solo Showdown on a symmetrical Erangel School rooftop arena, and a brutal best-of-three Melee Clash.
Tactical Depth: Strategy takes center stage in Bluebomb Rush before all points culminate in the massive Platoon Battle Royale.
