Ha “Sayaplayer” Jeong-woo, also known as Spyder, has moved to The Guard to complete its five-man roster. Previously the resident Omen player for T1, Sayaplayer seems to be switching roles to become his new team’s main Jett and Operator player. Sayaplayer played Jett on all the maps of his trial tournament at the NSG Winter Championship – Open 7. 

Sayaplayer is joining The Guard alongside the recently announced JonahP to complete the roster from the parent organization of the LA Guerrillas and the LA Gladiators.

The final roster for The Guard is as follows:

• Jacob “valyn” Batio
• Harrison “psalm” Chang
• Michael “neT” Bernet
• Jonah “JonahP” Pulice
• Ha “Sayaplayer” Jeong-woo

News of Sayaplayer’s signing to The Guard came minutes after his departure from T1.

T1, under new leadership from Joshua “steel” Nissan, is in the process of rebuilding. Although Zander “thwifo” Kim was also recently signed, it is unclear what the final form of T1 will be before the start of the upcoming 2022 VCT season.
