Pioneers is a team that has been making all sorts of moves throughout the latter half of 2021. They entered VALORANT in June and have see their share of roster changes thus far. Things may be coming together finally, as their players on trial appear to be working out. That has been proven by at least one, as Noah “jcStani” Smith’s trial is over and his official stint on Pioneers begins.

Known for his time on Immortals, jcStani exited the team after his contract expired on May 3, 2021. Shortly after, he was signed to Andbox for a short time until the beginning of August. Now, he finds himself on a scrappy Pioneers team that truly might have the goods if they put in the work.

He began his trial with Pioneers on October 9, 2021 along with the majority of his current teammates. Since that trial began, Pioneers has only lost one official match. It is safe to say that performance is what convinced the organization to end the trial period and fully sign jcStani to the roster. It may only be a matter of time before the other players on trial put the ink to paper.

Currently, the Pioneers squad is filled by:

  • Jason┬á“jmoh”┬áMohandessi
  • Noah “jcStani” Smith
  • Brady┬á“thief”┬áDever (Trial)
  • Tristan “Critical” Trinacty (Trial)
  • Jamal “jammyz” Bangash (Trial)

Just looking at the roster, it is clear to see the talent there. They’ve got another former Immortals member, a staple of Luminosity Gaming in early NA VALORANT, a young fighter who came up with Mamba Mode Gaming and BBG, and lastly a man that proved he deserves every chance at a top tier spot when he stood-in for Version1 at Masters Reykjavik. This team has the goods.
