Valorant team Acend has decided to part ways with Jose Luis “koldamenta” Aranguren Herrero. Acend is now down to four players on the roster after the Spaniard’s departure from the squad.

The Acend Valorant team was formed on March 10 of this year. Formerly known as Raise Your Edge Gaming, the team had to rebrand following some complications between Riot and the organization’s affiliations with gambling sites. Little did anybody know that this very team would go on to defeat Team Heretics in the final of VCT Europe Stage 1 Masters. Featuring star Jett player, Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek, Acend went on full steam ahead to come out as one of the greats on the European Valorant stage in 2021.

The Spaniard was the team’s primary Sova main and his in-game experience from PUBG, as well as having played for Movistar Riders before, translated well into the team’s success.

Despite that, the team’s short-lived run in VCT Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 was a seemingly good enough reason for the roster to make some changes. The team will surely be looking to qualify for the upcoming Masters Berlin event and may need a boost on the roster to achieve just that.

The Acend squad is currently left with the following players:

  • Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek
  • Santeri “BONECOLD” Santeri Sassi
  • Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets
  • Patryk “starxo” Kopczyński

As always, we will keep you updated on the developments of both the team, as well as where koldemanta will end up.
