Starting from December 25, 2021 at around 5:07 PM GMT+8, Korean Organization ESports Connected (Formerly known as bbq Olivers) or ESC for short, began a series of announcements on Twitter consisting the signings of several high profile VALORANT players and coaches. The team’s full roster, however, has not yet been revealed. One last slot is open, along with possible positions for substitutes.

The signings so far include former F4Q players Kim “GodDead” Sung-sin and Kim “zunba” Joon-hyuk.

Former Unknown and WyVerN player Yoo “Moothie” Seung-woo also joined the roster.

Finally, Korean Champions representatives, Vision Strikers, announced that the organization is sending Lee “k1Ng” Seung-won to ESC on loan.

Coaches Signed

Two coaches were signed to the organization. Those being former NUTURN members Jeong “Jaemin” Jae-min and Jung “peri” Bum-gi.

Short Competitive Backgrounds

The new members of ESports Connected have a wealth of competitive experience. Moothie has played in the VCT circuits of both Japan and Korea while GodDead was on F4Q’s main roster and played alongside Zunba before getting replaced by Jeong “Esperanza” Jin-cheol in the latter portion of 2021. Zunba then went on to represent Korea at Masters 3 in Berlin. Finally, k1Ng was a key member of Vision Strikers during the team’s dominant run throughout this year, as well as last year.

As for the coaches, we spoke more on Peri and Jaemin’s VALORANT history in this article detailing their departure from NUTURN.
