The Bren Esports roster has announced that it is parting ways with the VALORANT organization. The abrupt decision comes in days after the Philippines team qualified for VCT Masters Berlin, but ultimately did not travel to the event due to some visa-related complications.

Bren Roster Decides to Find New Opportunities

Despite the roster leaving Bren Esports, the players will retain their hard-earned VCT circuit points. As reported by user MentallyStableMan on Reddit, a new organization that signs at least three of the players will have the points on their side.

The roster proved themselves to be formidable opponents after their triumphant victory at VCT Southeast Asia Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs. Alongside Paper Rex, both teams were destined to fly straight to Masters Berlin as they entered the grand final. Bren added value to the achievement by defeating the Paper Rex squad in the finale and grabbing the first seed. As we know, Bren did not get to go to Berlin and now the Bren Esports roster is no more.

The following players are no longer under the Bren Esports VALORANT banner:

  • Jessie “JessieVash” Cristy Cuyco
  • Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan
  • Jim “BORKUM” Timbreza
  • Kevin “Dispenser” Te
  • Riley “witz” Go

We are yet to receive further news on the roster’s future. Any team that picks up the five players will definitely have a bright future on the VALORANT scene in the Southeast Asia region.
