TSM announced Sean “Bang” Bezerra as the final member of its VALORANT roster just in time for the NA VCT Stage 3 Challengers One open qualifier.

Bang is filling the void left by Stephen “reltuC” Culter who moved to the TSM bench in May. This was shortly after TSM was eliminated from Stage 2 of the VALORANT Champion Tour. TSM lost against Immortals and Andbox in the Challengers 2 main event and finished in 5th-6th place.

Many fans expected TSM sixth-man Braxton “brax” Pierce to replace reltuC on the starting roster. However, Brax left the organization last week to return to T1. TSM head coach Chet “Chet” Singh explained TSM’s decision on adding Bang to the roster in the announcement video.

“I think we needed someone more aggressive. We just needed someone young to help build motivation within the team,” Chet said. “I felt like Bang was the perfect piece because not only was he a free agent, VALORANT contracts right now are tough to get any player you want. He brings so much more, comms, he entries hard, he has fresh ideas. Overall, it was a better transition.”

The new TSM roster

Bang played for multiple teams before joining TSM like On The Way, Serenity, and Phoenix1. The young player is only 17 years old and does not have the experience of some of his teammates. But he still has enough raw talent to get the team back on track.

TSM will face FBM in the VCT Stage 3 Challengers 1 open qualifier on July 1.

The TSM VALORANT roster is as follows:

  • James “hazed” cobb
  • Taylor “Drone” Johnson
  • Matthew “WARDELL” Yu
  • Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik
  • Sean “bang” Bezerra
  • Chet “Chet” Singh (coach)
